Foreclosing on Foreclosure

Foreclosure programs are on the rise to aid homeowners on understanding foreclosures and the process on entering into government funded programs. Since foreclosure levels are decreasing banks and other financial institutions are more willing to work with homeowners and develop alternatives to avoid foreclosure. According to a recent Bloomberg Post, the extended foreclosure review will allow homeowners who have lost their homes from 2009 to 2010 the ability to have their cases reviewed. The hope is that inaccuracies or misrepresentations will be found in order to restore ownership.
